1. The first step to installing your new system, is knowing exactly where you are located (Latitude & Longitude)
   You also need to know the magnetic declination at that location.
    (Difference from your compasses south to true south).
    Fortunately both these can be found HERE 
    Just enter your Zip & click “Get Location”
    The Latitude & Longitude fields now represent your location.
    Click “Compute Declination” – Declination East or West value is now displayed under the button. Record Results 
   
2. For a static dish installation you need to ensure that the line of site to the satelite you wish to recieve is free of all obstructions. You should know the satellite from the channel & satellite finder page. Now you need to enter your position & the satellite info into the Azumuth & Elevation Calculator.
